Every once and a while (realistically more often than that though) I go for a little drive at night to clear my head and relax. Often, these excursions lead me to realize I need to change something/do something new.
Tonight was one of those drives. I’m currently looking for my first TV job, and one that is hopefully not here in Brantford, but somewhere else where I can settle for a few years and start my adult life. Right now the two likeliest places I’ll end up are Hamilton or North Bay, both awesome places.
So I was going over some things I could do when I move to keep me busy away from whatever work I’ll be doing, and I’ve decided that once I move, I’m going to volunteer for Big Brothers Canada. Not sure why it took me this long to realize how wicked being a big brother would be. I always thought having a brother would be the coolest thing, so I’m going to sign up, meet some solid kid and have awesome times with him. I can’t wait!
